The Raccoon Valley Animal Sanctuary & Rescue (RVAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable and educational animal welfare organization. Their mission is to eliminate the neglect, abuse and abandonment of companion animals caused by human ignorance, intolerance and indifference. And to celebrate the joys created by the human-animal bond by education and example.

RVAS believes that all life is sacred and that every companion animal has the right to live a full and joyful life. RVAS prides themselves in making “lifetime matches” between owners and companions, resulting in less than 1% of their animals being returned to any shelter environment.
